The Red Square began in Puebla, Mexico, in 2018 as KLEIN-HOME-SOLAR-HEAT-INTEGRATION SA DE CV. Since then, we have grown into a recognized provider of FIR heating solutions for indoor and outdoor spaces. Today, in 2026, we have a presence across Mexico, Europe, and the United States, and we continue to expand our international network in strategic markets. That growth is driven by an ongoing commitment to quality, efficiency, design, and sustainability.

Ecological and natural heating
How do infrared panels work? As the panel reaches operating temperature, it emits infrared radiation toward cooler surfaces within its field. Common interior materials - including walls, floors, furniture, and other building elements - absorb part of that energy, warm up, and then release heat back into the environment through radiation and convection. The result is a direct, distributed transfer of heat throughout the space.
By warming people and surfaces directly, infrared heating can create a rapid sense of comfort and make zoned control easier. Energy consumption compared with other systems depends on factors such as building insulation, outdoor temperature, usage patterns, control strategy, and electricity rates, which is why every project should be sized for its specific conditions.
At the point of use, electric infrared heating systems convert virtually all of the electricity they consume into heat. Overall system efficiency and operating cost, however, depend on the design of the space, insulation, controls, electricity rates, and the source used to generate the power.
How does it work?
Infrared heating is a form of radiant heat. The principle is similar to the warmth we feel from the sun: energy travels as radiation and directly warms the people and surfaces within its field. Because the system runs on electricity, it produces no direct CO₂ emissions at the point of use; its total environmental footprint depends on how that electricity is generated.
Unlike systems that primarily heat and circulate air, infrared heating transfers energy directly to people, objects, and surfaces. Those surfaces absorb part of the heat and gradually release it back into the room.
In many convection-based heating systems, air is warmed near a heat source, rises as its temperature increases, and falls again as it cools. This circulation can create thermal stratification, particularly in rooms with high ceilings, where some of the heat accumulates above the occupied zone. Radiant heating reduces reliance on this air movement by directing energy toward the surfaces and people that actually need the warmth.
The key difference is how the heat is delivered: convection warms the air first, while infrared radiation directly warms floors, walls, furniture, and people within its field. Those surfaces then also help temper the surrounding air.
